Shadow the Vampire Chpt 39

Meanwhile, in the woods, Rouge was thinking up something devious.

" I knew he would do this! " Rouge snapped. " I knew he would leave me and not come back! It's that stupid girls fault! She's changed him! She used her nice and girly femine charms to make him stay with her. UGH!!! I'LL KILL HER NEXT TIME I SEE HER!!! " Rouge yelled.

She contenued to yell to herself even though no one could hear her. Meanwhile, Shadow was walking up into Amy's yard. Amy slid off of his back and walked towards the door. Shadow looked up and saw that the moon was full. He quickly grabbed his head and doubled over. It felt like his brain exploded. It was extremely painful to him.

" NO! I should've never looked at the moon! I should've never even stayed! " Shadow said raising his voice.

Then, with one big jerk, he fell on one knee. He looked up and had a crooked smile on his face as the pain left his body. Though he didn't feel the same. And he didn't smile out of happyness. He walked to Amy's poarched steps and walked inside the door. Amy was already inside. She walked out of the kitchen. She saw Shadow standing in front of the door.

" Is something wrong Shadow? " She questioned concernedly.

Shadow imediately looked at her. He smiled.


" Oh no. Nothing's wrong. Quite the opposite really. " Shadow said.

Amy looked strangely at him, as he was looking at her like a piece of meat.

" Are you sure? " Amy asked.

" Quite. I feel better actually. " Shadow asured her walking forward.

" Shadow. " Amy started. " You don't look yourself. " Amy said.


" A commpliment I asume. " Shadow said almost to her.

She walked back a few steps.

" Uhh...S-sure. " Amy studdered.

Shadow stopped before he got within five feet of Amy. He just stared at her. What is he doing? Amy thought.

" What're you doing? " Amy asked.

" Your pail. You look like you've seen a goast. " Shadow said with evil delight.

Amy stepped back quickly. It was almost midnight so it was dark in her house. Shadow walked to her anyway. Amy kept walking untill she finally backed into a wall. Shadow stopped as soon as Amy did.

" What's the matter? " Shadow asked evily, keeping the smile on his face.

" What? " Amy snapped.

Shadow kept silent.

They were a good five feet apart anyway. Amy looked at him for a minute. She ran quickly around him and turned.

" WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?!? " Amy shouted.

Shadow propped up on the wall with his arm, while putting his other arm on his hip looking cocky.

" Nothing. " Shadow said looking like he was getting angry.

" W-well... Umm. " Amy stuttered.

" What's wrong? " Shadow said narrowing down Amy's options.

" N-nothing? Why do you act so angry?" Amy said raising her voice.

She looked up over Shadow's head and saw a clock. The big hand on the clock just turned to twelve o'clock. She looked back down and didn't see Shadow. She paniced. Then she heard a footstep behind her. She turned and saw he was behind her now.

" Shadow! " Amy shouted.

Amy held back a scream waiting to see what Shadow would say next. Amy was scared. For the first time, she was frightened of Shadow. Shadow realized she was afraid. He paused.

He appeared to be holding back anger. He looked through the window which was straight infront of him and saw the sun peaking over the trees. He passed out in on the floor. Amy jumped forwards getting away from him. She looked to see if he was awake. He was breathing so he was alive. But he was in a deep sleep. So Amy drug him up to his room. Where she would question him tomorrow.
