Thorns and Roses Chp 52

Shadow obviously caught up to Amy, who was running up the road, trying to get away from him, and grabbed her wrist to make her look at him.

" Leave me alone! " Amy yelled with anger.

" It wan't what you thought it was! " Shadow said letting go of her hand.

" What? " Amy started sarcastically, " My best friend and worst enemy kissing?! " Snapped the furious hedgehog.

" I honestly don't know what happened! " Shadow explained.

" Ugh! " Amy ran in the direction of her house, too angry to cry at the moment.

Shadow watched untill Amy ran over the hill. He paced back and forth, trying to understand what Rouge was doing. But none of it made since! If Rouge was angry with him, then why the kiss? Shadow growled flustratedly.

" Stupid females! " Shadow snapped to himself.

Shadow rubbed his face in flustration, trying to think of a way to calm himself down before he exploded. Just then, Shadow glanced up at a tree. Imediately, Shadow pulled his fist back a hit the tree with devistating force. His fist went all the way through the tree, which was a little wider than a foot across. Shadow breathed heavily, trying to make his heart stop pounding at a rapid rate. Shadow pulled his fist out and rested his forehead on the tree, which made some loose bark crumble and fall. With no other solution, Shadow sat down in front of the tree, and pulled his knees up.

" Why do I always have to do things the wrong way?! " Shadow questioned to himself. " Why am I always the bad guy? "

Meanwhile, on Amy's poarch, Amy ran up the stairs and slammed the door behind her. Running up the stairs Amy also slammed the door to her bedroom. She locked herself in her room and plopped down on her bed, burrying her face in her pillow.
Amy cried out loud because no one was home except for her. She was dredfully confused.

" Why did he kiss that no-good bat when he told me it was over between them?! " Amy questioned to herself. " Rouge was right, he was lieing to me. "

Amy cried for the rest of the day, causing her pillow to feel like someone dipped it in water. When the sun started setting, Amy rolled over to her side, and saw the night sky about to come out. Sucking it up, Amy stood and walked out of her bedroom.

" I can't cry over this any longer. It was obvious why he came back to my house in the first place anyway! " Amy said gaining anger.

Beside the road somewhere, Shadow was still sitting in front of that tree.

" Thinking about this isn't going to change the fact that Amy hates me now. " Shadow thought out loud.

But when Shadow looked up at the sky, hoping to see bright stars, Shadow saw the full moon. As soon as he saw it, Shadow looked down hoping that just a glimpse of the moon wouldn't make him go nuts. But unfortunetely, it did. Shadow grabbed his head and closed his eyes tightly, " Not now! The first person I'm going after will be..." Shadow didn't get to finish before the moons rays set in. Shadow grinned as his inner wild came out. Uncontrollable thoughts, and actions started to take over. Shadow now, had absolutely no controll. He just hopes that he doesn't do anything that might hurt Amy. Shadow stood to his feet, standing in a ditch by the road, when a young fox spotted him. Tails was going to Amy's house to borrow something when Tails saw Shadow by the road. Tails seemed confused to see Shadow in a ditch, staring at him.

" Shadow? Is that you? " Tails asked walking in his direction.

Then Shadow tucked his shoulders behind his head and showed teeth at Tails. The fox stopped, not wanting Shadow to hurt him, then Shadow looked at the road behind him, and ran in that direction. Knowing something was wrong, Tails ran back to his workshop, where Knuckles and Sonic had been hanging out with him earlier.
